How often should I have my AC serviced in Florida?
Twice a year is ideal — once before summer and once before the first cold snap. Florida humidity and near year-round run time wear systems faster than anywhere else in the country, and a seasonal tune-up catches small problems while they’re still cheap.
Do you really offer same-day repairs?
On most calls, yes. Call early in the day and our techs arrive with common parts already on the truck. After-hours emergency? Call anyway — we answer.
Do you work on mobile homes?
Yes — mobile and manufactured homes are a specialty of ours. They have their own duct and sizing quirks, and we’ve been servicing them across Gilchrist County for 50 years.
What brands do you install and service?
We install Comfortmaker — we’re an Elite Dealer — and Gree systems, including packaged units and mobile home units. And we service just about every major brand: Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Rheem, Goodman, York, and more.
Do you offer financing?

How long does a new system last here?
Most systems in North Florida last 10–15 years. With proper sizing and regular maintenance, ours routinely go longer — we still service units we installed decades ago.
Should I repair or replace my old unit?
We’ll tell you straight. As a rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than a third of a new system and the unit is over 10 years old, replacement usually wins. If a repair will genuinely fix it, that’s what we’ll recommend.
Why is my AC blowing warm air?
Check the easy things first: thermostat set to COOL with the fan on AUTO, a clean filter, and the outdoor unit’s breaker. If those all check out and the air still isn’t cold — especially if you see ice on the copper lines — shut the system off and call us. Running it iced-up can take out the compressor.
How often should I replace my filter?
In a Florida summer, check 1-inch filters monthly — with the system running all day, they rarely last longer. Thicker media filters go 3–6 months. Pets and allergies shorten all of those.
Do you offer emergency service?
Same-day on most calls during the season — and if your AC dies after hours, call the same number anyway. We answer. You’re calling your neighbors, not a call center.
